Lately, there has a been a number of restaurants that are offering to cook seafood via steam method that takes place right at your table. Steaming your food has been advocated by many publications to be healthy as there is no need for excess oil to be added in the cooking process. The restaurant is curiously located on the second floor. The first floor is the reception area. The second floor is spacious and there are stainless steel steam stations on each table. Menu is in Chinese only. After a bit of indecisiveness, boyfriend and I decided to choose the set that costs $268 per person.
We started with a steamed egg with truffle paste. The egg was just cooked so it wasn't hard and rubbery but still at the smooth watery stage. The mixture of truffle flavored the egg.
The meal was ended with congee. The congee was sweetened by the juices that dripped from the seafood that was steamed above. The pumpkin and chicken flavored it slightly as it tasted mostly of the seafood juices.
