It was a Monday night around 20:30 and I had to wait about 15 minutes before I could be seated.I ordered the Mita style pan-fried dumplings and the spicy pork bone based fish broth tsuke-men.Dumplings arrive within 5 minutes and ramen took around 10 minutes.Mita style pan-fried dumplings: Pan-fried dumplings covered in what tasted like an okonomiyaki sauce, kewpie mayo, bonito flakes, and seaweed. Mita style pan-fried dumplings: Pan-fried dumplings covered in what tasted like an okonomiyaki sauce, kewpie mayo, bonito flakes, and seaweed. The toppings were decedent and amazing when all mixed together. My only real complaint would be the dumplings themselves. Not very crispy, almost hard to tell it was pan fried. And the filling wasn’t very flavorful. Great toppings, bad dumpling.
Spicy Tsuke-men: The broth had a huge spot of chili oil added to it since I got the spicy. The actual broth itself is creamy, yet has a gritty texture. Like a very soupy Congee. The flavor is strong in curry and pepper, and the pork flavor is medium with a subtle hint of fish. I found the balancing of flavors to be off for my liking. The noodles were very good udon noodles. Chewy, doughy, and filling. The egg was overdone to my liking. The pork was very good and lean, not much fat on it. It was an okay ramen.
The staff was friendly and work very quick.
