a fellow girlfriend and I went yesterday after reading the article of 新假期, however upon arrival, the restaurant was "full" with two empty tables listed as reserved. I think we waited outside for half an hour before seeing the reserved customers arrive, another half hour until we got in. Was here try the cheese sandwich, but was told those were only available on weekdays, kinda disappointing, I don't want to follow your facebook and do research before coming to your restaurant, i just wanna eat, man!
The food was ok la, the marshmallow sandwich was servicable, but the ice cream melt too quickly and was a mess to eat, together with marshmallows and strawberries, it feels like a dish a kid with sweettooth would make. You could never make out the radish flavour of the bread among this sugery sweetness.
The cold soup was also laughable, served in a tiny cup, it taste great but gives you a bad/cheap feeling, felt cheated, like "here's your sip of soup, you're not getting anymore."Overall way too overpriced for this neighbourhood, i'd say, if you HAVE to go, go, if not, just go eat somewhere else, you'd probably find a more hipstery place than this.
