As promised, I have come to the laksa place next door to try. Was seated with other people at 12:30pm. I ordered the chicken wings laksa with lemon water.I think my noodles came within 5 mins - or maybe 3 mins...a bit too quick but I guess the soup and chicken wings are pre-made. The soup tasted right with the right amount of coconut milk, and not too spicy which is a good plus. The 3 chicken wings were a bit soggy from being in the soup (for 5 mins), and yes, I can taste they were fried for

The 3 chicken wings were a bit soggy from being in the soup (for 5 mins), and yes, I can taste they were fried for some time already. Texture of the noodles - nothing wrong. There were a fair amount of bean sprout, 4 "tofu pockets", and I felt full after the meal.
The lemon water was alright but the bottle for sugar was quite dirty so at the end I didn't feel too well drinking the lemon water with sugar.
A 50ish meal in Central - not expensive but also does not have much to offer to attract me to be back.
