As everyone know, Lai Chi Kok is a place full of working adults as there are a lot of industrial building and wholesales business going on. Since i was around this area today and i knew that there are many F&B outlets popping out in inside industrial building this few years, i visited one today. As their menu stated, they do change their menu from time to time, depending on the seasonal products that were readily available. Their set lunch consists of either soup or salad, main course, drink & dessert. Price ranges between $98 to $158, and one good thing is there is no service charge.
Italian mixed soup - There is only 1 small bun being served, but nonetheless the bun was served fresh from the oven and the outside was crispy, and soft inside. There are cucumber cubes, carrots, potato and even red beans in it as well. It was boiled till soft and was very tasty, with a bit of sour taste.
Sous vide Australian ribeye - I ordered the most expensive item in the set lunch. The Australian ribeye was cooked using an unique method, cooked in a precisely temperature-controlled water bath. Potato cubes's skin were rather hard, but potato was still tasty. I requested for 60% but when i cut it, i don't see much red meat on it. Luckily, it was still tender and tasty, with strong black pepper taste.
Iced chocolate - I topped up $8 for a glass of iced chocolate. Small amount of whip cream were placed on top to make the drink even smoother. As a fan of chocolate, i enjoyed this drink as the chocolate was thick and creamy.
Lychee pudding - This mini pudding comes with the set and it was lychee flavour. The flavour was quite strong and was sweet. Halfway into eating, i could see real lychee meat in it as well.
