picked a nonspicy hot dish to play safe - bitter melon (foo gwa) fry egg. the foo gwa they cut it up really small so you can't really taste it. now I know why ppl say you only eat foo gwa as you age. i was looking forward to foo gwa! but they didn't really satisfy me in that sense.
this is.. wu mor XX duck (rubbed taro with ___ and duck).duck tasted like cow lam (beef briskets) and there was a bunch of these clear watery jello things, overall this was a surprise! it's not spicy (slightly disappointed) but the texture of the duck was nice and jello strings were nice to try.
the classic water-cooked fish. fish was soft (too soft maybe), had to use spoon to pick it out, using chopsticks will break it in half.
at the bottom included some very chewy buckwheat noodles type of thing, but honestly, mroe chewy than I would have liked. This was a fun restaurant to try, but I wouldn't come here often ($240/person is too much!) and my family is not really into spicyness.
