The weather has turned so much cooler recently which means it's time for hotpot! (when I actually have hotpot literally every season and any day of the year lol) This time we went to a sophisticated hotpot place located inside of a so-called hotel which was more like motel. The place was larger than expected with modern interior and round edges. There was even a display of the kitchen where you can overview all the making of the seafood and ingredients which was awesome.

We were seated at a booth deep inside the restaurant and it was quite spacious. Room is very crucial when we're having hotpot as we would be overwhelmed with so many dishes on the table. It was an a la carte menu so you should order carefully and try not to waste food!

Golden Chicken Soup Base with Fish Maw
The soup base is literally the soul of the meal so you do have to think twice before making the decision. There are already a lot of ingredients in the soup base so remember to take into consideration those when ordering as well! There are quite a huge amount of chicken in the soup, which enriched the flavor of the soup so very much. If you need stronger tastes, do make use of the seasoning and saucing plates provided at the beginning of the meal and create your own sauce.

Angus Beef was plated very beautifully and it was served with dried ice which made it super photogenic! The instruction said "10 seconds" and so we attempted to cook it for 10s only and yet it was still a bit too red to be honest lol. Please do it your way and make sure it's well cooked before eating to avoiding getting sick.

The dumplings we tried was truffle flavored, which was quite refreshing and creative indeed. The handmade shrimp balls were wrapped with dried egg yolk in the center and this surely impressed me the most! The taste complemented so well with one another and was one of the most remarkable ones that I've tried in a while.

I have to say it was one the of most ig-worthy hotpot places ever as the place was so modern and unlike typical ones. We would most certainly recommend trying it out especially the weather is getting so cold. The price range is a bit high to be honest but it was worth it as the quality of food was high and the environment was so good. The service delivered was efficient and the staff were indeed very friendly.
