Newly opened on Mercer Street, Ăn Chơi is a small Vietnamese restaurant that serves what Vietnamese people eat. We came here for lunch. Noodles are their daily special so as a noodle lover I actually didn’t have many options. Each lunch comes with a salad or soup for free. The soup is the same as the noodle soup so I picked salad instead.🥂Bun Mam $100This is only served on Thursday. This is only served on Thursday. It’s basically a bun with roasted pork belly, squid, fish cake, eggplant, prawn and chive inside with tamarind sauce. It’s slightly spicy and the thick rice noodles was a bit too soft for my taste. The prawn also came with shell so it’s not convenient to eat.

I didn’t like the dressing very much.

I like their coffee here and only hot coffee comes with the metal filter.

The place has 2 floors and it might feel better to sit upstairs I guess? Also avoid coming in rush hour for better experience.
