Yagura is located in Eaton Hotel. It looks like a ‘pro’ restaurant with nice decoration. It attracted us to go in and give a try. We had ordered three kinds of ‘Special’ from its menu:1. Sashimi Special ($228+10%) includes a. Side dish (sauced seaweed with veggie), not really impressive but tasted refreshing of the seaweed. b. The snapper head soup, strong taste of fish and tasted a bit similar to Miso soup.c. Tempura special (prawn, veggies etc), I simply like them, they are warm and cru
a. Side dish (sauced seaweed with veggie), not really impressive but tasted refreshing of the seaweed.
b. The snapper head soup, strong taste of fish and tasted a bit similar to Miso soup.
c. Tempura special (prawn, veggies etc), I simply like them, they are warm and crunchy enough
d. Sashimi special (Salmon, yellowtail, seasonal fishes) with rice, sashimi tasted fresh and juicy. It’s a bit sad that they are very thin sliced! e. daily dessert, not really special. Just a glass of tofu ice-cream.
a. Side dish (same as above)
b. Miso soup, tastes steady.
c. Tempura special (same as above)
d. Grilled Chicken with Teriyaki sauce and rice, obviously you could taste that it’s frozen chicken, what makes it special to become a nearly $200 dish?
e. daily dessert (same as above)
a. Side dish (same as above)
b. Miso soup, tastes steady.
c. Appetizer of grilled salmon with Avocado, it looks quite delicate and tasted good!
d. Grilled Silver Cod with rice, the Silver Cod tasted fine, but it’s really a small portion and NO sauce/ juice served with. The general feeling was very dry and not an exciting dish at all.
e. daily dessert (same as above)
