More Cakes & Danish & Doughnut

Having written a commentary on this place just a few months ago, I would like to write another on its cakes, danish and doughnut.This Green Tea Yuzu Cake seemed to be new so we decided to give it a try. It was made of pretty light green tea mousse.  This opera cake looked so appealing with its special blue surface. It was so rich in coffee flavour. However, the base of the cake was not crunchy anymore and the different layers couldn't give it rich texture. There were definitely better layered cakes out there.

 This one was taken away. The portion was huge given the price. There were so much mangoes and even some edible gold! The mangoes tasted good but the danish was no longer crispy when it was eaten in the evening 
It should have been much better eaten earlier so I gave it an overall rating of 3.

 This one was also taken away. I was slightly disappointed that there was no rose jam doughnut so ordered this strawberry jam doughnut instead. It was eaten the next day, although it was not advised to do so. However, the quality was almost the same as fresh because it was soft anyway. There was loads of strawberry jam but it was not overly sweet. The doughnut itself wasn't too sweet either. It was ok.

Despite the overall disappointment, I think I would come back to try out other cakes or pastries given the central location, reasonable price and comfortable environment.
