S2 has been on our list for a while as it has also been around for a while in the heart of soho central. We came after work today to give it a try! The interior inside the restaurant is not big but definitely full of Japanese elements. Small but gold. we picked a few signature starters to begin with...first was there sashimi salad which wrapped with some herbs 🌿 this tasted fresh and with the combination with the salad dressing. second dish was their seared tuna with truffle on top. The portion was perfect for two to share, the truffle paste was delicious and flavorful.

we also ordered a hot starter, which was pork with eggplant. It was pan fried perfectly, juicy and tasted just right, not too salty.

another recommendation was their tempura okra with salad paste on top. It was creative, great for photo taking and innovative!

last dish we had was their Yuzu udon, quite tasty as its simply delicious! Overall a few different Japanese restaurant, they don’t have a lot of common dishes (which is great) and they play it creative!
