Usually, their afternoon tea is charged per person but this menu is for two. In view the afternoon tea needed some time for preparation, we go to try their scones and drinks first. Their scones are great as usual with their rose jam. You pretty much can spot the dry ice surrounding it so you can guess their next move.
Despite expecting this effect, it still looked amazing especially with their chandelier as the background.
All the food items were beautifully crafted but for my favorite sandwich I would choose the egg salad caviar. The light flavors of the egg salad sandwich would have been bland but together with the caviar it became a great combo.
For desserts I would choose the Blueberry Opera. As you can guess from reading my previous reviews, I can't tolerate desserts that are too sweet which is the usual case for Opera. However, due to the addition of the slightly tart blueberry layer, this opera was really good.
Besides their Journey to Venus Afternoon tea, they also have their regular festive afternoon tea that you can order as well.
