Ever experienced the same problem? 2 of you are in TST, want to have japanese, but you dont want to go to an ultra crowded, ultra hip, ultra expensive and superficial jap restaurant which is everywhere around the district? We walked down Kimbeley Road and discovered this tiny little gem hidden at the mezzanine floor of this inconspicuous hotel. We really appreciated the quality of service, the waitress patiently introduced the menu to us, and warmed up a good conversation. Staff were all attentive

We walked down Kimbeley Road and discovered this tiny little gem hidden at the mezzanine floor of this inconspicuous hotel.
We really appreciated the quality of service, the waitress patiently introduced the menu to us, and warmed up a good conversation. Staff were all attentive, including the 'auntie' who always gave her smile and cracked little jokes.
Sashimi was good, compared to the skewers. We enjoyed the sake, the green beans to accompany our conversation. The fried rice was consumed to the last grain.. nothing left.
The complimentary sesame icecream won the heart of my girlfriend..
It is a place i would come back, for a familiar feeling long lost in dining experience, which is Simplicity literally..
