Walking casually along Sheung Wan on a Saturday noon, I browsed around to see if there were any nice and relaxing cafes around to enjoy my lunch. While strolling past Bonham Strand, I chanced upon this small bistro, which i guessed it was opened not long ago as i have never seen it previously. La Casa Bistro was located at Bonham Strand, about 5 minutes walk from Sheung Wan MTR.They offered set lunch daily, from 1130am to 5pm. It was priced from $68, all the way to $138. It came with salad or so
They offered set lunch daily, from 1130am to 5pm. It was priced from $68, all the way to $138. It came with salad or soup, main course and drinks as well. Even for their ala carte menu, we can choose to have lunch combo by topping up $10 to $20 per items etc.
Cream tomato soup - It was served hot and creamy, with strong tomato taste. The texture was more to thicker base and was tasty.
Fresh pasta with roasted chicken breast, cherry tomato and basil - I requested for fettuccine pasta type. The pasta was chewy and smooth, not too soft. It mixed well with the tomato base, which was flavourful. Roasted chicken breast was soft and smooth, juicy as well.
Peach tea snapple - It was sweet and refreshing, with strong peach tea taste.
