I have tried the same congee shop in Yuen Long, although it was tasty, but I found the Yuen Long shop was quite crowded, and it was a bit far away from the MTR station. Today my colleagues and I were in Shau Kei Wan for work and decided to come to this place for lunch.It was still so hot today, so we immediately ordered some drinks to cool down. We were too hungry so we ordered quite a lot of food. What a feast for celebrating our hard work. Although this is a congee shop, but they also served quite a wide variety of food. Even though I’m not a big fan of congee, there were still a lot of options.
I especially like the wings! It’s juicy and the fried skin were not too hard.
This fried octopus could be my favorite dish of the meal. I’ve also had the same in Yuen Long shop, it never disappoint!
All these fried snacks are so good... couldn’t resist finishing them all😜
We ordered three congee for sharing. They all taste good and each of them really tasted differently, can feel that they really have heart in making the dishes.
It was such a nice lunch, would definitely come back again! They also have this human size poster outside of their shop, showing the Yuen Long shop, this is hilarious.
