It was almost 2pm when I eventually had time for lunch. I spotted this restaurant which looked quite cozy and had no hesitation to walk in.Ordered the $148 Set Lunch, chose Garden Salad as the Starter, Roast Beef Rice (+$10) as the Main Course, and Tiramisu as the Dessert.Garden Salad was fresh, simple but pretty delicious😋. Garden Salad was fresh, simple but pretty delicious😋. There was a hint of sesame flavor which smelled great. Then came the Beef Rice. The presentation was great😍: beef in pink, sauce in yellow, egg yolk in reddish orange, and garnished with some herbs in green. Obviously it's Japanese style twisted. The beef was thinly sliced, very tender & juicy😋. What came in surprise was that yellow sauce, it was amazingly delicious, but I just couldn't tell what was inside. I was told later there were ginger, garlic, shallot, onion, sesame, etc，all blended together to become a very smooth sauce. This sauce packed a huge load of UMAMI😋 and it's really yummy to go with the beef & rice. It was also interesting to have this Gyudon in an Italian restaurant.
Tiramisu was smooth, and Cappuccino was delicious too😋
Set Lunch here was surprisingly delectable, and was really great value for money😊. Will come back for dinner.
