I made the reservation before I read the last 2 comments. I was puzzled if the restaurant was "REALLY" such bad. Last night I went there with 3 others. The service was good indeed and the owner was really nice. Unlike others, I never did menu confirmation since I wanted to give the chef most degree of freedom, so that the chef can give me the freshest food available and he can express it in his own technique. For the food last night, tomato pumpkin soup was tasteful. The pan fried goose liver was beyond my expectation. Nevertheless, the main dishes was really a surprise. The duck meat was so tender that even I caught not get it from a 5-star hotel.
In between each course, the owner came in and asked for opinions. We shared our own experience in cooking. Her hospitality was inpressive.
For a group of 4 - 6, this is really a good place for dining and gathering.
