Went here for lunch with BF because the restaurant I wanted to try (Homey Cafe) was full, packed with business people! Chose to come here instead. Arrived here before 1PM, had to wait 3 minutes before a table paid and left. We ordered a Roast Duck and Chicken Platter ($95) along with a bowl of rice and noodles ($10 each). We ordered a Roast Duck and Chicken Platter ($95) along with a bowl of rice and noodles ($10 each). This place is famous for their duck but it wasn't particularly outstanding in my opinion. The duck skin was quite crispy and fat enough. However, I feel that there wasn't enough meat. Nonetheless, it tasted good with plum sauce, the rice and noodles. The chicken was average. The meat was too skinny for me and the taste again, nothing special. I think $95 for the platter is slightly overpriced, given the taste and environment.
We also ordered iced lemon teas ($6 each), good price unlike many restaurants which charge their drinks way overpriced!
The restaurant itself it quite small, but spacious enough to sit comfortably. There is a TV to watch too! Service was friendly, overall quite an enjoyable lunch.
Overall, I think this restaurant is good for its duck (although not extremely great and quite overpriced), but not anything else really.
