My go-to restaurant for 河鲜。I prefer this Jordan branch cos there’s a car park right next door, service is better and and tables are more spacious. Normally I come here for the fish 方利and the 排骨陈村粉. 陈村粉 was soft and didn’t gel together like some places. Went well with the rib sauce.This time we ordered other 小菜:响攞炖鸡汤,(nice but could be less oil)Cooked 鱼皮- very crunchy, no fishy taste.鲮鱼肉酿青椒- I’m not a fan of 鲮鱼 or green peppers but the others liked it.咕噜肉- ok. 咕噜肉- ok. Crispy, batter not too thick.
蒸鱼, (no 方利 tonight). Server suggested an alternative, but I didn’t like all those thin bones.
梅菜蒸菜心,菜心 tasted very sweet; 梅菜 not too salty. Good.
蒸鸡, a signature dish, being chicken pieces steamed in a copper plate. Chicken was tender.
煎焗鱼嘴 as casserole.
For dessert, we ordered the 双皮奶 (better to pre order) and the 黑糖马拉糕. Both good.
The yellow one was too dry.
In summary, good place for dinner, esp if you like seafood。Recommended.
