A lovely friend invited 3 of us, Sept babies, to celebrate birthday together. I was wearing a blue dress coincidently, and surprised that the restaurant interior is Blue too, not baby blue, but ocean blue. If it was baby blue, it would be very cute. Anyway, it supposed not a kids-theme restaurant. Quite comfortable seating, dim lighting to keep little privacy for each table, suitable for a small gathering. Kind of full house that night, but didn't feel too crowded.
Look at the menu, first page is all mussels, can tell how popular it is. We ordered a pot with white wine sauce, seafood platter and half dozen of escargot as appetizers. Seafood platter is very cheap, only $168, as long as the seafood is fresh and hygiene, even not at high quality, really no complaint for this price. There were oysters, shrimps, mussels, etc, 3/4 pcs each, quite nice. The signature, Blue Mussels, indeed delicious, better than the cold dish. I like the escargot very much, because it has my favorite mash potato.
For drinks, we all ordered virgin colada. The funny thing was, they offer different favour options such as strawberries. Anyway, we chose the original one.
I had the squid ink risotto, ox tail risotto and lamb chops as main courses. Both risotto dishes were very good, especially the squid ink, we all had black-lips after that. The ox tail risotto, taste was good but selection of ox tail can be better, the ones they used were too bony. Lamb chops were just so so.
Service level needs improvement; they are polite and pleasant but not paying attention enough when they take orders.
Overall impression was nice, we spent 3 hours there enjoying the food and lots of laughs.
