I am usually a hater when I write content but this restaurant / quick bite turned out much better than I thought, especially since I was a random walk-in customerI was really hungry around 2:30 and saw that Solo Udon just opened. Pretty interesting Kisok and ordering system - the QR code is great cause I don’t need to think about paying after my meal, I can just bounceI ordered their signature prawn Udon (supposedly they sold out the night before) can be a gimmick or what not but whatever I trie

I ordered their signature prawn Udon (supposedly they sold out the night before) can be a gimmick or what not but whatever I tried it.
The bowl is so damn big when it came. Bigger than my damn head or a watermelon. Looked great though, shrimp was on the medium side but can tell it was crispy. Super piping hot soup and the Udon itself was chewy for a hot noodle. Pleasantly surprised. Soup itself was real tasty and at 98 bucks wtf so cheap, it rivals higher end restaurants in terms of flavour
Only complaint is the AC kept blowing on my head, hair was like super saiyan but they said they will fix it as it’s their only 2nd or 3rd day open
I’ll be back to try their other stuff, supposedly the cold udon is even chewier. Happy to have ate here, finally a decent Udon place in HK, if not it being the only one not serving the bland tasteless soups
Tried the dessert too, looks good in a can and taste good as well
