I was meeting one of a good friends of mine for dinner tonight and he suggested a Thai restaurant that was very popular in Tsim Sha Tsui. Their menu was really extensive, offering a wide range of Thai cuisine such as salad, snacks, curry, skewers, seafood, meat, rice or noodles, drinks and desserts etc.
Flamed tiger prawn in house curry - This was one of their new dishes, in a way that the prawn was flamed in front of us when served. Tiger prawns were juicy and creamy, fresh in taste too as it absorbed the essence of the gravy, which was sweet and creamy.
We ordered garlic bread to go along with the tiger prawn curry gravy. It was toasted till soft and crispy, with strong garlic taste.
Grilled pork skewer with satay sauce - It was chewy and juicy, grilled till charred and flavourful. Satay sauce was sweet and thick in texture, going well with the skewers.
Snacks platter - It consisted of Thai chicken roll, fish cake, shrimp cake and veggie spring roll, with 4 pieces each. Veggie spring roll and Thai chicken roll were fried till crispy and chewy, fish cake and shrimp cake were juicy and chewy as well. Thai sweet and sour sauce was provided to enhance the taste.
Grilled grey mullet with salt - The chef was generous with the serving of the fish, which was huge. The skin was grilled till very crispy, and salty in taste. Fish meat was very soft and smooth, able to taste the freshness. Thai spicy sauce was provided to dip onto it.
Mango sticky rice - Sticky rice was served warm and sticky in texture, chewy as well. Coconut cream was provided to go along with it, which was sweet and creamy. Mango was soft and sweet n taste too.
