I have been to this Causeway Bay branch twice already, the high ceiling and western style of decorations are rather attractive. They have hanged some whole prosciutto and preserved garlic at the back, which are the delicious and impressive decorations, the staff said they worth more than 30k!!! Next to the reception and across the bar table, there is a pasta making corner!! If you are lucky, you are able to see and enjoy the freshly made pasta in different shapes. My friends and I have been arranged to the window seats, so we can see the street view from there.

The server has served us the menu right away and give us some recommendations, please note that they do not have complimentary tips from the customers like other restaurants in Hong Kong. Therefore, you can decide your tips based on their services or you can be like a cheapskate, give zero tips to the hardworking servers. Besides that, there are few good-looking foreign staffs here, I am sure any female would be happy to serve by them lol.

The lunch starts with the soup of the day and that day is Pineapple & Parsley Cream Soup. The weird pineapple combination is oddly good, the soup itself tastes a bit similar to mushroom cream soup, then along with a light sweet and sour pineapple taste. The soup is sided with the toasted focaccia, rich buttery and garlic flavors.

We are sharing the dishes, hence we can try and explore more main courses. First come is the healthy Salmon Super Food Salad, it makes use of around 11 ingredients, such as cooked salmon, avocado, beets, fennels, quinoa, pomegranate and few more. As there are lots of beans and grains, not everyone can handle or like the taste of this salad. However, the harissa dressing and cottage cheese can hide that strong beans taste, also there is a hint of spiciness to freshen up and united the whole dish. Rich crunchy textures with the layers of flavor, healthy and delicate.

We are never a healthy person, thus the next dish is the opposite of healthy, Hong Kong Hot. This pizza recipe is tailor made for Hong Kong district only, so I would say is definitely a must-try item here! The chewy and slightly thick pizza crust, topped with tomato sauce, salami, spicy meatballs, pickled chilies and buffalo mozzarella. This pizza is absolutely evil, because it gathers all those fatty and oily, but yet super yummy salami and meatballs. And you will totally fall for its spiciness, that sour and quite spicy pickle chilies are addictive.

Since homemade pasta is one of the signature here, we decided to go for two pasta for sharing, one is Our Famous Prawn Linguine and another one is Truffle Tagliatelle. I am sort of allergic to prawns, so I would prefer the Truffle Tagliatelle over another one. I think the pasta is a bit overcooked, it would be better if the texture to be chewy than soft. Nevertheless, you can smell the truffle sense from far and your taste will be defeated by black truffle.

As have mentioned, we are not the healthy keepers. Hence, the last main course is the appealing Sirloin Steak. The medium rare cooked steak is extremely juicy and you are able to see the pinkish meat after slicing the steak. It is simply seasoning with herbs and butter, then come along with the creamed casserole and skinny fries. There is no doubt that, this would be the guiltiest dish among all. Juicy steak with fries, need no more words to describe.

To end the lunch with couple of sweet treats is a must!! The restaurant makes us a special dessert platter that includes Raspberry Rippled Pavlova, Orange Blossom Polenta Cake, Epic Chocolate Brownie and Blueberry Cheesecake. All these lovable desserts serve on the same wooden platter, they are colourful and stunning like a masterpiece!!

Raspberry Rippled Pavlova: Sweet pavlova and sour berries can never go wrong, the sourness can neutralize the sweetness and balance the dessert. Moreover the pavlova is rather crunchy, not soggy, PERFECTO!

Orange Blossom Polenta Cake: The pound cake has absorbed the sweet honey and syrup, then the bittersweet orange piece can freshen up the whole flavor.

Epic Chocolate Brownie: Thick texture and rich chocolate flavor of brownie is topped with extra chocolate sauce and caramelized popcorns. But caution about sweetness overload!!!

Blueberry Cheesecake: Good texture, yet not much surprise about that.
