What a fantastic evening! Le Marron is such an exquisite find that it spurred me to write my first ever review on OpenRice.The venue, as others have described, is an eclectic mix of old-world charm and clever partitioning.The staff are friendly and reasonably attentive, whilst the food is wholesome and good value. Contradicting their website, which says they do not offer a birthday service, when we mentioned it was one of our parties’ birthday, they smoothly created a wonderful chocolate inscription onto a large place for the guest of honour, took a great photo and within minutes, produced a hard copy of the picture to take away. Blew all expectations.
With just one visit, Le Marron has rocketed to one of my all time favourite restaurants in Hong Kong and I will be sure to take friends and visitors there to share my proud secret.
