Went to have dinner with fds yesterday. The place was not crowded on a Monday night. The ambiance is small and cosy.About the food:Bread - served in two type. The focaccia-like triangle is soft and warm, with a slight taste of salt. Another one is a thin crisp. Bread - served in two type. The focaccia-like triangle is soft and warm, with a slight taste of salt. Another one is a thin crisp. Both were gd.
Lobster bisque - similar to other commetns here, it is thick, creamy, and filled with lobster (crayfish) chunks.
Crab and avocado risotto - rich, creamy and tasty. the risotto were a bit soft (to suit the tastebuds of chinese). it would be gd to make it just-done.
Seafood spaghetti in lobster sauce - another vy gd dish. the seasfood (clams, shrimps, squids) were all very fresh. the pasta were al dente, and the sauce was refreshing and light.
Frech Chicken in chestnut sauce - it's not as outstanding as the above two, but the chicken was tender.
We order a warm chocolate cake (with vanilla icecream) and apple strudel (with honey icecream) as dessert. The first one was really great, had a rich chocolate aroma, and the timing of just gd in the sense that when we cut the cake, the chocolate lava spilt out slowly. It goes well with the icecream.
About the service:
Excellent, very attentive, the manager and waitress kept filling our cups of warm water from time to time without being requested to do so. They were cheerful and sang a b-day song to my fd when desserts were served.
The amount we paid was worthwhile. I definitely want to visit here again.
