Evening no dine in and we decided to order take away. Like most people, we flip through our delivery app to see what was available. This is when we noticed a place called Dirty Burger. As I live near this area and go past this address a lot, I had no noticed this restaurant before. So, we placed an order through the app and chose to pick it up just to see where this was.When we arrived, we saw it was located in a shop called Fresh Lane. Apparently, there was a listing of other restaurants there,

They had a self ordering kiosk at the front entrance.
We had received an order number for pick up. When went downstairs we realized this was a deliver/take away only establishment. Each restaurant rented space in their larger kitchen and everything was for take away only. A great concept during the pandemic.
Pick up is also completely contactless. After I entered my order number on the tablet, it directed me to which locker my food was held. Inside was a Food Panda bag with my order.
Menu I screeen capped from the delivery app. It's in English and Chinese. They offer a few burgers, sides and drinks. As it's take away only, there is no 10% service charge. If you've used the app before, it works well.
Everything was neatly packaged in biodegradable paper boxes. We ordered a two people combo which costs $248. The two people combo includes two burgers, one side and two drinks. We added an extra side of fried chicken for $32 because we felt it was a bit odd to only share one side and boyfriend said a burger was not enough for him.
I had the Dirty Burger. The beef patty was delicious. Very well seasoned and juicy. There were caramelized onions that had light pickle to them so it had a bit of a tang. The signature sauce was a bit spicy. The double cheddar cheese was so melted, it became part of the patty. But the best was the bread. They used a Kaiser roll which is not commonly used for a burger bun. It was great. Held together well. Didn't fall apart. Had a nice chew.
Boyfriend had Fried Typhoon Shelter Soft Shell Crab Burger. The soft shell crab was still crispy. But most surprising was there was a beef patty here as well. It wasn't in the order description. The fried garlic and chili flakes were generously sprinkled throughout. And he also had some pickled onions..
Dirty Burger Beer was part of the combo with no extra additional price. It's from Hero's beer so it is their usual ipa. Crisp and clean with citrus undertones.
I had the Vanilla Milkshake. This was ok. It had a good amount of vanilla taste.
For snacks we chose the Fried Buffalo Mozzarella Shaomai. These were so good! You could taste the cheese mixed with the pork. Super crispy and tossed with peppeer flakes.
We also added a Dirty Fried Chicken ($32). A very big piece of boneless chicken thigh. Super juicy meat. The skin was crispy and the coating was not too thick and well seasoned. There was also a generous sprinkle of pepper flakes.
Really excellent burgers and service was fast. We ordered and picked up within half an hour. Everything was still warm when we got home. Ordering was easy and we'd probably try it again.
