We came here one Sunday lunch as part of a relaxed day in Stanley. While we enjoyed it, we left with the impression that it didn't quite hit the mark. It's not a stand-out in our minds. We both liked the duck crepe and crispy duck wings which were very good because the meat was nice and tender. Overall, the food met our duck-expectations but still felt underwhelming. We both liked the duck crepe and crispy duck wings which were very good because the meat was nice and tender. Overall, the food met our duck-expectations but still felt underwhelming. It feels as if they're really just relying on the duck novelty rather than really crafting special dishes.
The menu portion indications were misleading, with our 'bigger' dish (the 8-treasure duck) actually being the same size as the 'smaller' dish (the crispy wings), although the flavours were quite good.
The decor is urban and minimalist, which works OK but doesn't set things up for a stand-out experience.
The service was efficient - but it wasn't very full when we were there.
The experience wasn't bad but it didn't stay with us. Rather like water off a duck's back.
