Wandering in Pacific place, looking for a place to have some refreshments. I came across this restaurant around 4:00pm. Looking at the menu, it’s quite a fancy french cuisine, quite pricey to be honest. I’m would like to have something sweet, some dessert for as a snack. On weekdays, there isn’t tea set, only a la carte menu and happy hour. I’m not very sure what the happy hour menu offer, cause I don’t drink. I ordered the apple tarte tatin, one of the recommended dessert on the menu and a war
There comes the apple tea, it was very expensive. Their beverage are pricey, but the apple tea taste amazing and better than I’ve expected. On the menu, it says it’s made from Japan Fuji apple juice and earl grey tea. Then my rice pudding came. I am a big fan of rice puddings, so I ordered one here. The presentation was eye catching, there’s marinated diced pineapples in the middle and a freeze dried pineapple slice on top. I absolutely loved it. It was creamy, fulfilling with flavour of real vanilla beans. Please do try this if you like something creamy but not too sweet. Then it was the apple tarte tartan. Again, amusing presentation, gelato in the middle, caramelised apples and crust. I’m surprised by how well it fit together and not too sweet. The warmth of the apple fit well with the gelato, it had levels of texture; crisp, soft, to icy cold. Definitely try this, quite worth it for the price.
This review is based on the dessert, not the mains. Read this if you’re having a full course with dessert. Definitely try these two dessert, it will surprise you. Thanks for reading, not a bad experience compare to other restaurants.
