Aight, coming from SoCal so I might be biased on this.So it's X'mas and I decided to bring my fam here for dinner. At first, seeing most of the reviews online I thought it will be a good idea to bring them here. Then after those stone cold tortilla chips came, dang I knew it's gonna go down hill from here.Going back to the chips, they were stone cold. Like dang I know it's X'mas and all, cold chips? So it's X'mas and I decided to bring my fam here for dinner. At first, seeing most of the reviews online I thought it will be a good idea to bring them here. Then after those stone cold tortilla chips came, dang I knew it's gonna go down hill from here.
Going back to the chips, they were stone cold. Like dang I know it's X'mas and all, cold chips? Those were probably left outside since last X'mas.
I ordered a set of Carne Asada, fish, and carnitas tacos, enchiladas supreme, and chicken quesadilla. Everything was bland; they were tasteless and soggy. The chicken was dry, it felt like I was eating dry strips of college dining hall food. Though the fish was soft, it had no taste. The carnitas was drenched in a pool of grease, again bland. The only thing that tasted alright was the tortilla and pico de gallo. The guacamole was canned and not fresh; at least I can taste the avocado back at our college dining hall. This here was a sour green paste.
The chicken quesadilla, unfortunately, was filled with thin strips of flavorless chicken verde. At least the cheese tasted like cheese. Then comes the enchiladas 'supreme'. Good lord, I thought i was eating one of those KFC chicken pot pie; it came out in a tin foil pan. It didn't looked like it was pre-made, it was definitely pre-made, frozen, shipped here and stuffed in the oven for 10 minutes, right out of the factory. It reminded me of one of Ramsey's kitchen nightmare episodes which the 'chef' throws frozen goodies in the oven and serves them right away.
I won't even go in to the service cuz we weren't even given proper utensils. Overall I thought the waiters just didn't wanted to be here cuz they couldn't even smile. I guess it's probably they have to work on X'mas so whatever. It costed is 600 bucks for the night, which is a rip off considered the fact that it was a nightmare.
I felt bad that I brought the fam here cuz now they have a bad impression of Mexican food and I've probably ruined the reputation of Latin American cuisine for them.
If you think this will be a good place for food, please, think again.
