Gathering Cuisine is a fusion Chinese restaurant with 2 branches in HK. Last time we had the Shanghai crab feast at their To Kwa Wan shop which was superb. This time we booked dinner at their new branch in Tuen Mun to try more of their signature dishes.Black Fungus in Vinegar - started the meal with some appetizing sweet and chili black fungus topped with edamame.Deep-fried Pigeon - the pigeon had been pre-marinated in soy sauce. The sauce base was savory and slightly sweet like dark soy sauce.

Deep-fried Pigeon - the pigeon had been pre-marinated in soy sauce. The sauce base was savory and slightly sweet like dark soy sauce. Crispy skin and pretty juicy meat.
Stewed Chicken Soup with Fish Maw in Coconut - MVP of the meal. Huuuuuge piece of fish maw. So tender!! The sweet and nutty tropical coconut water was infused with the essense of the ingredients. Stunning.
Pork Knuckle - instagrammable dish that was flambêed with Chinese rose wine before it was served. The meat was rather strong-flavored and we enjoyed it in small bites with sparkling wine.
Sweet and Sour Pork - made with thick pieces of fatty pork collar meat. Thin crispy batter coated in caramelized sweet and sour sauce.
Overall this is a perfect place for friends or family gatherings. Fair prices, good portion for sharing, prompt service. Better make your reservation first to secure your seats!
