1. Tea set is available at the time I visited (till 6pm) for a smaller bowl of laksa and a drink. However, I did not want a drink, and would like a larger bowl of laksa as an early dinner before gym, their signature lobster laksa is a bit too grand though. 2. I didn’t know what happen to me that caused me to choose “Medium Spicy” instead of “Mild Spicy” as usual. I somehow regretted it a bit seeing all the chilly oil and paste on top. It’s not the spiciness that got me, but the greasiness…It feels like I would gained a pound after downing this bowl of noodles.
3. The chicken is grilled before being put in the laksa. Therefore, it tastes more like grilled chicken fillet more than shredded chicken you usually find in authentic laksa. It still tastes good, but somehow doesn’t feel like the real thing.
4. You can choose rice noodles, oil noodles, or a mix of both. I chose a mix of both. The portion of noodles is actually quite generous. I felt so full after finishing all the noodles.
5. Sides (egg and dried soy bean pockets) are very enjoyable after soaking up the laksa soup. Heavily flavoured.
