Since this Cantonese Fusion restaurant is located at the heart of Wanchai, it was to my surprise that there weren't many people. When we first went at 7pm, we were about the only table there and it only started to fill up at around 7:30pm. Considering its location and the style of food, the interior design of the restaurant was actually pretty laid-back. My friend and I decided to order 2 appetizers:The first is this Aracini with Chinese preserved sausages ($38). My friend and I decided to order 2 appetizers:

The first is this Aracini with Chinese preserved sausages ($38). At first, I had no idea what Aracini is, but it's basically rice balls. This dish is unique because the outer layer of the rice balls is made of rice crisps and it's very crunchy. It definitely goes better with the soy sauce provided, but all in all, I felt that the crispy layer was too thick and I couldn't really taste the preserved sausage inside.

The second appetizer is Preserved Vegetables, Minced Pork and Half Boiled Egg ($38). I thought that this dish was visually appealing and it was very special too. Although the layer of preserved vegetables and minced pork is rather thin, therefore quite difficult to taste it, the half boiled egg was cooked perfectly. Along with the crispy outering contrasting with the soft egg, I definitely recommend ordering this.

For mains, we ordered the Braised Shanghainese Meatballs ($108). This dish was honestly pretty average and I thought the sauce was pretty delicious but the meatballs felt kind of heavy and bloating.

We also ordered the Shanghainese Style Braised Beef Short Ribs ($148). I felt that this was the best dish of the night because the braised ribs were amazingly soft and the meat wasn't too fat. It wasn't too oily either and even though the portion was rather large, it left us wanting more. The vegetables were a good addition to neutralise the palate too.

For drinks, we ordered on the left a Ovaltine & Horlick (left) and Hong Kong Style Milk Tea & Coffee (right). I felt that the Ovaltine and Horlick was definitely very special and I never knew that the two drinks could mix so well together.

Lastly, our dessert was this Multi-Layered French Toast with Nutella and Peanut ($38) and it was quite filling, possibly because we were very, very full by the time we had this. But I felt that this dessert is more appropriate if you have more people to share it with because with the nutella, the peanut butter, the syrup and the many layers of toast, even one bite can taste quite bloating.
