I booked for Saturday night at 6:30PM, and most of the tables were full. The environment was great with pretty decorations and soft Taiwanese music. The service was good that whenever we raised our hand, there was immediate reaction. We two people ordered rose bubble tea, lu rou rice, the newly issued pistachio egg tart, and taro paste egg roll. Overall, the food tasted okay, with surprises in the taro paste egg roll—it has salty floss on top of the slightly sweet taro paste, connected with egg

We two people ordered rose bubble tea, lu rou rice, the newly issued pistachio egg tart, and taro paste egg roll. Overall, the food tasted okay, with surprises in the taro paste egg roll—it has salty floss on top of the slightly sweet taro paste, connected with egg roll, and the combination is nice.

However, they are all too overpriced. One egg tart costs $65, bubble tea costs more than $40, a small lu rou rice costs about $100. I think most of the money paid for Gateway’s rent. Anyhow, the experience was okay.
