We were walking by Quarry Bay one weekend and passed by this cute little place with chalkboard menu on the outside and nicely decorated furnishing inside so decided to give it a try. Once we sat down we ordered the pork cartilage curry rice which we saw a lot of other tables had in front of them. The moment it was served, we could already smell the deep aroma coming from the dish. The fragrant smell of curry mixed with the smoky barbecued flavor of the pork was enough to get me salivating. First things first, the pork cartilage was extremely tender with a smoky crunch on the outside. The curry was very flavorful but not overpowering. The rice was egg fried and delicious. Lastly the dish came with sides of roasted vegetables which tasted brilliant and was the perfect complement to the pork.
