It's very nice of my friend to buy me brunch at Cafe O. At the very beginning, we planned to try the one on Caine Road. On our second thoughts, Cafe O in Wanchai was more convenient to us. So we chose this one. The shop was smaller than expected but high chairs gave me a relaxing feeling. Actually, my friend heard that the cafe served quiche which I longed for. Despite we found quiche + salad on menu, the waiter said they did not make quiche. Nevertheless, we still found some other food good in

We tried vegetable lasagne + salad set, cream of mushroom soup, mango juice for her and cappuccino for me. The soup was impressive because mushroom was blended with vegetables (I think it's spinach) and the texture was creamy enough. Very good. The tomato paste on lasagne was fantastic and the whole thing was fresh. Salad seems to be side dish in most dishes. But I found salad shared the same importance in the set. Rocket, cherry tomatoes, etc were fresh and the salad dressing was good. Hope they can be more generous in salad dressing next time.
Because it's a self service cafe, I think food is a bit over-priced. After all, target customers are expatriates or OL in weekdays. Maybe it's the reason for such pricing.
Again, thanks for my friend's recommendation. We can try quiche some place else. As I said to my friend, a good meal is not something about food only but also the partner. I enjoyed thoroughly the lunch with my friend. Thanks again.
P.S. The score of hygiene is because of the washroom which is in the next building and not tidy enough.
