Starting off the dinner, fresh vegetable salad with vinegar. The vegetables are fresh and crispy, mixed with vinegar is a very appetizing appetizer!
I ordered four types of beef, Japanese chuck rib (left) ($350), Premium wagyu karubi (middle) ($320), Japanese prime karubi (right)($205) and ox tongue ($108)
Japanese chuck rib (left) ($350) .. Supposedly the best marbled part of the cow, the king of kings. Verdict: authentic melt in your mouth experience, huge amount of fat in this little slice of meat but doesn't feel oily at all. An absolute mouth watering experience.
Japanese prime karubi ($205) on the other hand of the spectrum, this is the lower quality cut. However, despite for the less fat content, you can see the meat is also gorgeously marbled and still melts in your mouth. The difference is, the texture is a little different but the beefy taste is much stronger. Perfect for those who loves their beef with a heavier beef taste.
Premium wagyu karubi (middle) ($320) The middle mane between the two, a perfect balance of fat and taste!
OxTongue ($108).. Simple, Although simple, "less is more". Easy to eat, price friendly and actualyl better quality than what you would find in most japanese or korean barbeque. A good bang for buck!
Also, remember to grab a plum wine ($60 only)!!!
Overall, a perfect dining experience and the price for quality is such an insane bargain, I don't understand how its possible.
