Came here for lunch on a rainy afternoon. As there was no line at 1 pm on a weekday and I was pressed for time to get to work, decided to try it out.They had this at the front of the restaurant and I thought .. cool! Just like those ramen places in Japan! But when asked, the waitress said it wasn't in service, maybe later. Makes me wonder if it ever will be in service? She gave me a menu in Chinese and a bilingual photo menu. They serve three types of ramen...classic, lite and supreme. Supreme c

She gave me a menu in Chinese and a bilingual photo menu. They serve three types of ramen...classic, lite and supreme. Supreme came with pork shoulder char siu while lite was supposed to be more bean sprouts. All were pork soup base. This according to the waitress. So I ordered the lite.
The ramen arrived and the soup base was quite thick and extremely sweet. Almost sugar like in sweetness which I didn't like. The char siu was so thin and small, it got lost in all the ramen. And yes...lots of bean sprouts.. And onion and I didn't ask for extra onion! The noodles were al dente though a bit on the softer side. The egg was runny enough but a bit bland. Portion size was quite small.
There were a few condiments on the table but it was just sesame seeds and preserved vegetables. And after you're done eating, they offer you a tissue box which was odd. If they have this available, they should have placed it in front of me at the start.
It was ok but not great. The place was quiet, with only one other table seated and three at the counter. Which made it really noticeable when there are more staff than customers and they spent all their time gossiping.
Would I return? Probably to try out the other ramen choices if there is no line.
