Overall: a good change of pace from the usual hotel high tea contenders here, fun combination of flavors and nice ambiance. So, savories first, we had
Mentaiko Crabstick Tart - 🎍🎍(5 being the highest score) An underwhelming start for us, you pretty much just tasted mayo, and those raw sprouts on top? 😕
Black Truffle Ham & cheese French toast - 🎍🎍🎍🎍Quite nice with a decent amount of black truffle flavor, I like how they deep fry it instead of just serving up plain sandwiches, which show a lack of effort imho.
Laksa style shrimps, rice crusts - 🎍🎍🎍🎍🎍Oh my word, these are so good we ate every drop of that laksa Béchamel. It packed a punch, and the shrimps were good. That sauce with those rice crackers, wish we had more!!

Scones:
Classic scone - 🎍🎍this is just meh. I don't like how they don't have clotted cream to go with the scones, no butter as well. But the marmalade and the strawberry jam were just atrocious. So sweet, so bad. They went skimpy on this too, one classic scone and one earl grey scone to be shared between two people, given they're super small already??
Earl grey scone -🎍🎍🎍🎍🎍This is just soooo SOOOO awesome. I mean I love earl grey tea myself and these are doing earl grey justice. Those tea twigs just elevated the scone right there. Highly recommended!

Now for dessert:
Hawthorn cream cheese cake - 🎍Not doing it for me. Hawthorn is not really my thing and it doesn't go well with cheesecake, at all. The cheesecake itself was pretty decent though.
Osmanthus Pear Tart - 🎍🎍🎍Very subtle and light pear flavors, which I like, but the osmanthus was missing? Quite an elegant and refreshing little treat there.
Longjing Passionfruit sable breton - 🎍The sable breton (butter cookies) was overly sweet, which were paired with longjing jelly thing on top which were sweet like SYRUP, yikes. What a bad dessert!
Canele de Bordeaux - I'll be honest, it's my first time tasting a Canele and I don't know how it's supposed to taste like, so I'm not scoring it. It tasted like Pei Pa Koa to me which was super weird. Texture was good, crispy outside and eggy and chewy inside.

Give it a shot if you want to surprised you palette with a mix-up of flavors that you don't get in your usual high tea places 🙂
