Had the “13 kinds of sushi” lunch set and it was phenomenal✨The set started off with a fresh appetiser (Tomato Salad with sea salt), followed by the chawanmushi (Japanese Steamed Egg Custard) - love the soft and silky texture of the egg custard and it was full of favour! Then 13 pieces of sushi were served including: Shimaaji, Ishigaki gai, ShiroEbi, Aji, Hotategai (seasoned with lime), lightly smoked Kinmedai, Akami, Chutoro, Otoro, Kuromutu, Ikura, Uni and rounded up by a toro hand roll. All ingredient was very fresh and the sushi rice was very good too - well seasoned, with the right temperature. Every single dish was amazing and Kinmedai was my favourite of the meal. The skin was lightly torched and this has brought out the natural oil and enhanced the fish’s overall texture💯A bowl of clam soup x dessert (pistachio ice cream) were served at the end.
The chef was very attentive and would introduce each dish to us upon serving. Overall a pleasant experience✨
