It is so nice to have an one-day holiday in the middle of the week to relieve the toughness from Monday to Wednesday.Got up quite late on this Dragon Boat Festival day and decided to wander around in the neighbourhood to see what's new to have a late lunch.I've always been a fan of hamburger, especially those with home-made ham. Got up quite late on this Dragon Boat Festival day and decided to wander around in the neighbourhood to see what's new to have a late lunch.
I've always been a fan of hamburger, especially those with home-made ham. Eventually we found a nearby newly opened burger place called The Big Bite Flame-Grill .
The place was located in a quiet neighborhood while also easily accessed through the Shek Tong Tsui Municipal Services Building.
It was about 2 something while we arrived at the place and found only two tables were occupied, leaving the room soooo relaxed and cozy.
The decoration was exceptional North American style, with a Canadian flag being earthed into the floor in front of the bar area. And a few playful homage to the hunting history of the wild North, heads of a few stuffed animals were being lined up on the wall. I especially like the head of brown bear, soooo lovely. A big tall wooden table sited in the middle of the shop creating a nice stall to chill out.English speaking server let us choose wherever we want to sit, as the door was widely opened and therefore air-conditioning couldn’t hold within the room, we decided to sit far from the door to avoid the hot air from outside.

The restaurant offered a wide range of burgers and other choices of foods including hot dogs, fries, steak and even all day breakfast. I spotted the Big Bite Burger ($65) as my lunch today. The burger came with a delightful look, with the 6 oz. Canadian Sirloin Patty. The burger was massive with toasted bun on the top and bottom, plus fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. The patty in the middle was chunky and chubby, very tender and dripping with the juice of the meat. The bun was crispy on its top while soft inside, together with the fresh and juicy vege and the fatty luscious meat made the burger so full of flavor.

We stayed there for quite a while, enjoying a relaxing afternoon. Its not just a cozy place for nice burgers but should be also a good chill out point for happy hour beering with friends. We will definitely come back again.
