Around a month ago, I went to Ruby Tuesday for dinner with some friends and the waitress recommended us to join the VIP program. It cost HK$400 at the start, and lasted for 3 months (there are other more expensive options that last for longer, but I forget the price). With the VIP card, you get 50% off all items (excluding alcoholic drinks and service charge). Better yet, you can use the card immediately. So for the first time if you order food amounting to HK$1000 (which is easy for 5 people)
With the VIP card, you get 50% off all items (excluding alcoholic drinks and service charge). Better yet, you can use the card immediately. So for the first time if you order food amounting to HK$1000 (which is easy for 5 people), you didn't have to pay anything at all for the VIP card!!
Because:
Food ordered = HK$1000
VIP card payment = HK$400
Dinner payment = HK$500 + $100 (10%s.c.)
What's more is that from then on you can use this discount for the rest of the 3 months... which actually made me go to Ruby Tuesday much more often than usual (I guess I am one of their victims of their good marketing strategy)...
Anyway, better get on with the food choices:
Must Try!
Premium Aged Sirloin Steak - really good cut, served with mashed potatoes and vegetables (costs ~$270 normal price)
Snack Platter - your choice of regular / large plate, with 4 starter choices... my favorite is the fried mozzarella and onion rings! (reg. ~$98, lge. ~$140)
Beef Fajitas - really really nice, served on a sizzling plate, comes with the wrap, with diced tomatoes/cream etc. to add to your wrap
Can Skip...
The Double Chocolate Cake - originally I thought it was going to the same as 心太軟 because of the photo, but it's nothing like it...
Service is good, similar to what you get at other American restaurants. Overall good try, and should definitely join VIP!
