To start our meal, I enjoyed a crispy Lijjat Papad with a trio of flavorful sauces - Mint & Pepper, Pineapple, and Beetroot. Pineapple sauce added a sweet and tangy note.
Next we ordered was the Tandoor Octopus, the octopus was cooked to perfection, with a tender and succulent texture that nearly melted in my mouth.
The Raj Kachori, a dish beloved by ladies, was visually appealing. The manager explained that "Raj" means royal, and true to its name, this dish was fit for a king or queen. Its colorful appearance immediately caught my attention, with vibrant toppings and an array of chutneys. I was instructed to crack it open and mix all the elements together. This interactive experience added an element of fun to my night!
For the main course, we opted for the Malabar Fish Curry with Butter Naan. As someone who searching for something indian but prefers a milder spice level, this dish was an ideal choice. The fish curry was infused with a medley of aromatic spices, creating a rich and flavorful sauce. The fish was tender. Paired with the soft chewy butter naan, this would be a must-try dish here.
For drinks, we opted for the Rose and Mango Lassi. Served in big glasses, these yogurt smoothies were the perfect balance of creamy and refreshing. I requested mine to be less sweet, and the result was a lassi that hit all the right notes. The fragrance of the rose lassi was particularly enchanting!
We had a Pistachio Kulfi for dessert, the traditional Indian frozen dessert, , with every bite offering a burst of pistachio goodness.
Chutney provided a pleasant and comfortable dining environment. The spacious and earthy ambiance made me feel right at home, and the great service added to the overall experience💓. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to cater to any dietary preferences or requirements. Worth a visit!
