But for the sake of completeness, I wanted to try this out as well. It turned out to be a pretty pleasant experience.
I ordered the normal set plus an egg ($93).
It's just the Ichimi (chili powder) I took from the shop to spice things up just in case. There's also crushed garlic, sesame and vinegar available at the counter.
Noodles:
Good portion (almost double the size of Fujiyama 55) which was quite sufficient for me.
However, it also had a very little bit of alkaline taste. Luckily, the alkaline taste was completely gone after I dip the noodles into the sauce.
Sauce:
The sauce is also appears to be a tonkotsu/katsuo mix.
The texture was quite grainy. Felt like a lighter and less oily version of Hide-Chan.
Compared with Ore no Tsukemen, it had a lot more spring onion taste but no citrus/sweet vinegar. Not as rich as Hide-chan but thicker than Fujiyama 55. Not as salty as Shugetsu. Overall I think it's quite one dimensional but still pretty good overall. Definitely not "WOW" kind of tsukemen but a "Decent" bowl of tsukemen sauce.
I added quite a lot of chili powder half way through the meal. It matched very well with the sauce! (Worth a try! )
The bowl of light coloured liquid placed next to the sauce was essentially boiled water with mushrooms. Definitely not for drinking. Just suitable for diluting the sauce at the very end, which turned it into a very drinkable katsuo / Tonkotsu broth.
My char sius weren't as fat as those experienced by other reviewers. In fact, some of those were quite thin actually. I also noticed that they've adde some chopped fat into the sauce as well. Perhaps that could be considered as an improvement?

Conclusion:
- The noodles were good.
- Other toppings not exceptional but no complaints either.
- The sauce was not too overwhelming. So those who dislike oily, salty or strong flavours might find the sauce here just right. It's quite one dimensional but overall it's a pretty decent bowl of tsukemen that's filling.
Worth a try.

我吃了一半之後,加了約3茶羹一味辣粉入湯汁內一試。
發覺辣粉與豚骨鰹魚沾麵汁出奇地夾!
這真的能加強味覺層次,但又不會搶去湯汁主要的味道。
不妨一試!
提議隨自己的喜好加入店方提供的蒜茸/醋/辣粉等來調味!
無須拘緊!
