Passed by north point and search through Openrice for the highest ranking and see this restaurant. Lunch should be peak hour for restaurant around this area but luckily the shop isn't full. The menu is pretty simple, 3 types of soup based and a few types of noodles with the side appetizers. We had the 羅漢果湯 and the ham n chicken soup with tan tan noodle. The menu is pretty simple, 3 types of soup based and a few types of noodles with the side appetizers. We had the 羅漢果湯 and the ham n chicken soup with tan tan noodle. We also ordered the braised brisket, spicy braised brisket, deep fried wonton, and the tofu roll kind of thing. Anyway, the environment was ok. A typical local Chinese restaurant feel with nice server. I believer two of them are fairly new. Anyway, took them about 10 min to serve the food.
First we tried the herbal soup, taste sweet and don't feel much of MSG. The noodle was ok and the braised brisket taste ok, but it would be better if they could have braised for a little longer. The ham n chicken soup taste good. Strong ham taste!
In comparison with the price, I would give them an happy face for the soup base. Will definitely try the last one of the third in the near future.
