擂沙:11月在訂座平台見到有晚市套餐優惠 ($398),想也沒想就邀請喜歡肉肉的阿林到此一訪。龍蝦湯溫度尚可,未有熱呼呼的,香氣稍為薄弱。味道未算濃郁之餘,亦沒有蝦殻香。阿林更覺得湯頭不鮮且過鹹。我們期待的主菜,是於店內風乾熟成28天的美國肉眼扒 (+$108)。可是,味道不似預期,要是盲品的話,我確實感受不到有風乾熟成的痕跡。阿林:肉眼扒表面燒得香脆,但肉質不過不失,不特別濃郁,也不特別軟嫩。吃到一半擂沙提醒了那是風乾熟成,啊我確實已經忘記,因為它一點熟成的風味也沒有,還不如我在家伙買回來的。配菜可選兩款,薯蓉濕潤,偶爾吃到小顆薯粒添口感。炆菇算整晚最好的料理,彈牙又入味,個人喜歡洋蔥更腍些。甜品是Tiramisu,吃了一口,已經甜到打顫,又無咖啡味,旁邊還有一大坨忌廉是嫌它不夠甜嗎?

我們期待的主菜,是於店內風乾熟成28天的美國肉眼扒 (+$108)。可是,味道不似預期,要是盲品的話,我確實感受不到有風乾熟成的痕跡。

阿林:肉眼扒表面燒得香脆,但肉質不過不失,不特別濃郁,也不特別軟嫩。吃到一半擂沙提醒了那是風乾熟成,啊我確實已經忘記,因為它一點熟成的風味也沒有,還不如我在家伙買回來的。配菜可選兩款,薯蓉濕潤,偶爾吃到小顆薯粒添口感。炆菇算整晚最好的料理,彈牙又入味,個人喜歡洋蔥更腍些。

環境舒服, 但因為樓底不夠高既關係, 人多時嘈雜聲好厲害; 若果想靜靜地享受二人晚餐的你, 恐怕呢間唔係一個好既選擇~ 不過, 我就覺得嘈一點都好過太過區謹, 因為我好怕拎包紙巾都引起注視既感覺 XDD講返食物, 呢度D扒係Dry-Aged熟成, 肉味特別香濃, 切開唔會有血水, 我地叫左個二人分既porterhouse, medium rare, 温度對位, 肉質嫩兼juicy。另外我地都有叫頭盤蟹餅同side dish青露荀同德國焗薯, 全部都好美味, 尤其係德國焗薯, 面頭焗到好脆, 好似食緊脆薯角咁!其實我都好想試佢地個cheese cake, 可惜實在太飽....希望將來有機會重臨啦!

我同男友都是牛魔王,兩個主菜當然也是選牛扒、dry aged for 28 days,首先,我好喜歡牛扒上菜的 present、隻碟燒紅再放上牛排、牛排熱辣辣、睇見都想食~ 味道,外脆內軟、牛味濃郁,碟內有一些牛肉汁,點一點、再加幾粒鹽,更添美味~


甜品檸檬批,濃濃檸檬酸甜、帶有淡淡芝士味,清新怡人、很適合吃得很飽之後、消消滯~ 不過,忌廉則一點味道也沒有~ 喜歡喝酒的人仕,這個 menu 係有配酒,如唔嫌價格再貴一點、配埋酒會好~


食物方面,我很滿意,只是,酒水確實貴得過份,只是一杯 / 支很普通紅酒、最平也要 $170 / $700~ 服務,也有待改善、侍應們都比較冷淡,至於,OpenRice 評論有說餐廳環境比較嘈雜,我想說,餐廳樓底比較低、而且,枱與枱之間確比較近,不過,幸好當晚顧客不是太多、所以,也不是很吵耳~


Streak House,也吃過很多間,暫時最滿意是這間,所以,今年聖誕也計劃吃這間,介時會點鎮點之扒 Porterhouse 試吓~ Pre-Merry Christmas 🎄

是次為慶祝老公生日,一開始覺得環境沒有什麼特別,偏為嘈吵。點菜點了頭盤:生蠔及蟹餅;主菜:牛柳扒、吞拿魚扒;甜品:芝士蛋糕。雖然菜色簡單沒有特別點綴,但味道卻比想像中好味得多!

4. 這是我們的紀念日,我入座的時候就說了,問他們有沒有送cake,像RuthChris那樣,送個小小的cake之類的,當時服務員說ok. 結果到了最後,cake還是我們自己買的,雖然只有98塊,相比菜單上其他的食物便宜好多好多,但是還是非常不爽。這算是高級餐廳嗎?連這點禮儀都沒有!簡直太low了!

其次,環境也很差,整個環境吵的像在菜市場一樣,我和我老公說話基本都是用喊的。我懷疑這家餐廳的裝修有問題,沒有做隔音處理,所以特別遠的一桌在說話,說話內容我們都能大概聽到。對於要慶祝anniversary的我們來講,這種環境簡直是太可怕了!

最後,要說到重點了!對於一家餐廳來講,其他不好也算了,食物差就是致命的~而這家的食物實在是太差了,令人失望至極!!!
1. 我們點了PORTERHOUSE for 2, 但這是USDA Prime級別的牛肉嗎!!!一點牛肉的香味都沒有!!比麥當勞漢堡的牛肉還差!!表面很大一攤都焦掉了居然,導致口感很柴很難咀嚼。其次,一點牛肉香味也沒有,更別談USDA Prime級別的牛肉香味了!!這家店是不是處理牛肉有問題啊,一千三百多的牛肉就這點水準麽!連麥當勞都不如啊!!!
2. 服務員來問我們怎麽樣,我實話實說,非常不好,too bad, disaster. 他們還算講理,幫我們退掉了。我們換點了一份羊排,但是,也不好吃,一點羊肉的香味都沒有,600塊一份的羊排,一點羊肉香味都沒有!!!
3. 我非常誠實地說,這家餐廳的食物和它的價位相比,簡直一塌糊塗!!!

綜上,這家餐廳讓我想罵人,價格和實質完全不成正比,而成反比!大家不想浪費錢就不要去吃了!

We began the meals with a bread basket and you must try their onion bread. The bread was filled with marinated onion and topped with few pieces of baked onion, the sweet flavour tasted amazing with the butter.

As for the starters, we could choose between Lobster Bisque or Mixed Green Salad. But since there were two of us, we could savour both. The Lobster Bisque had a piece of lobster claw meat in it, the soup itself got a rather rich lobster flavour, not bad for a start. Not so special for the mixed green salad though, thus I will just skip it.

I had a struggle about the main course, because I was required to pay extra HK$240 per person to get the Porterhouse and which is their signature dish. So after telling myself that its not too expensive, we decided to go for the PORTERHOUSE yay!!! Around 15 mins later, the T-bone steak had arrived to us, IT LOOKED FREAKING HUGE!! Please also be cautious of the hot plate, which the melted butter was still sizzling. Since the steak had been dry-aged for 28 days in their own aging box, it wasn’t that bloody for medium-rare. It had also been seared perfectly on the outside and you could still see that mouthwatering pinkish meat in the middle. A bit of the beefy and tender steak will bring you straight to cloud nine and you may add the old fashioned sauce that's made by their own recipe. The other side of the bone is filet mignon, perhaps because of the hot plate, it was medium-cooked when I ate it. Apart from the steak, it carried a hint of the beefy organ flavour, that taste was completely different from another one, yet it was also FANTASTIC!

It was served along with two side dishes and Mashed Potato is always the best with steak. The mashed potato was too smooth for my taste. It would have been better to have a diced potato to add some texture. Another one was Creamed Spinach, somehow the spinach and mashed potato had a similar texture, nonetheless it was good to have some veggies to balance the heaviness of the steak.

And the dinner was not over! I wasn’t expecting much about the dessert, as this was a steakhouse not a dessert shop. It wasn’t some fancy dessert with nice plating, it was just a Tiramisu, yet I got stunned by it! You can see the layers of lady fingers and mascarpone cheese, a hint of bitter coffee taste filled among the cake. I love its flavourful, rich texture and not too sweet at the same time, you nailed it Wolfgang!

見到Restaurant Week 有Wolfgang's Steakhouse,此時不試,更待何時?雖然係$398起,但一定要加錢食招牌嘅肉眼同porterhouse,唔係晒咗。餐前包係洋蔥包,甜美可口。龍蝦湯,質感濃厚,龍蝦肉唔少。14oz 嘅肉眼扒,火候完美,有炭燒香味。由於經過熟成,牛味較一般肉眼濃郁。二人用的Porterhouse,份量巨大,燒至外脆內軟,牛味非常濃郁。甜品嘅Tiramisu同New York Cheesecake,大份夾好食。

bf has been talking about Wolfgang's several times since he had it with his colleagues a while ago. i have heard that the portion is pretty big so i haven't really thought of going with just 2 persons. but last weekend we finally got a chance cuz it was the HSBC restaurant week winners' edition and they provided dinner set at $398 +10% per personour reservation was at 7pm. the place was pretty empty with only 3 tables including us by the time we arrived. (actually no more than 10 tables througho

our reservation was at 7pm. the place was pretty empty with only 3 tables including us by the time we arrived. (actually no more than 10 tables throughout the whole night) 

the bread basket was meh, not fresh enough

we paid $240 per person more to have the porterhouse. it came with two different parts of meat, both were juicy and fatty. 
 i also like how the steak was crispy on the outside. we got two sides, which were the mashed potatoes and creamy spinach. tasted average.

in conclusion, food quality wise i will give Wolfgangs' a thumbs up. however the service was simply horrible.
once we got into the restaurant, the receptionist gave me a kind of rude stare. i mean i haven't even started talking why she would already gimme a shitty attitude 
 she hasn't smile even once all the way she showed us our seat. wait stuff weren't any better. our glasses were empty most of the time even though more than one of the waitresses saw them needed to be refilled. they weren't willing to clean the table either after we finished our soup and main course for a long time. we ordered a cup of tea by the end of the meal but it took them 15 mins to come, in which we even had to remind them for the order. the service they provided was even worse than a lot of low cost restaurants in town. 
 i hope this is just an one-off experience but i did see lots of other reviews criticizing their staff and service no matter if it's the official website of the restaurant week or Tripadvisors. not sure if i want to go back for this kind of service.

今日有幸老闆請吃飯,他說這家餐廳在美國很有名都是排隊店。在世界各地都有很多分店,今次有機會試,令我很興奮!砍於老闆在場,不敢拍太多照片。這碟牛扒,大過你跟我的臉!他們燒得很香,有著很濃牛肉的味道。老闆娘比較喜歡這一款,脂肪也比較少。但我則比較喜歡Rib eyes,它的肉質比較香軟,貼近少少和牛的質感。其他還點了白烚西蘭花及蘆筍,還有一枝紅酒。最值得一提是他們的焗薯仔,好香,好入味!最後我們點了幾樣甜品,我最喜歡的還是Tiramisu。這一餐,6個人$6350,應該唔會有下一次😆

其他還點了白烚西蘭花及蘆筍,還有一枝紅酒。最值得一提是他們的焗薯仔,好香,好入味!

最後我們點了幾樣甜品,我最喜歡的還是Tiramisu。

這一餐,6個人$6350,應該唔會有下一次😆

聽講呢間唔錯,於是就去試吓佢嘅lunch (好彩唔係dinner), 有d名過其實,麵包一般,mushroom soup濃到有d燶燶地味,牛尚可,但同價錢唔成正比,三文魚算是比較正常,可惜服務勁差,唔會再去

果日afternoon tea時間但係吾想食tea,估吾到呢間扒房下午無落場,我book左下午4點,我地一枱人獨霸成間餐廳。個擺位係好迫同埋燈火通明,一點都不浪漫。到我地食到5點9至有一枱鬼佬入黎。講返野食,杯dirty martini 好strong ,正!tuna tartare 無咩特別,咪一間高級餐廳既一般水準;塊prime sirloin 大塊到呢⋯⋯美國餐廳真係好抵食!呢間餐廳係黎食靚扒既地方

小秘書第一次嚟到「Wolfgang's Steakhouse」,大致上感覺唔錯,首先要讚嘅係餐廳員工,男男女女都笑容滿面,大家比我嘅印象相當好 💯 只可惜餐廳安排我哋坐咗喺一個無咩冷氣到嘅角落,小秘書咁啱又病病地,搞到前段大部份時間都要拎住個餐牌嚟撥涼😅嚟幫襯得steak house,主菜少不免都會係肉同肉🐮 小秘書雖然都係啱啱去睇完醫生先出嚟,但係眼見👀面前一盤盤美食,又點會忍得住口🤤 全晚我最欣賞係佢嘅 Porterhouse Steak ,牛排上枱嘅時候仲喺個碟上面烤緊,粉紅色嘅🐮牛排充滿肉汁,混埋啲creamed spinach一齊入口... 絕配!其次就係個🦀蟹餅亦相當出色,一刀切落去濃郁嘅海鮮味已經攻哂出嚟💨💨💨 一層薄薄嘅脆皮包住啲蟹肉同配菜,口感亦非常好❤️... 大家睇到呢到,係咪都好想去「WolfgangsSteakhouse」試吓呢😉 小秘書 絕對唔介意陪大家再去試食㗎🤣🤣

My first taste of “real” steak was something like 10 years ago at the Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in New York. Life-changing is bit strong, but not really – it opened my eyes to what a perfectly cooked piece of beef can taste like. Juicy and tender but with an unreplicable savoury beefiness, to go along with all the fat and flavour from the broiling/searing. Just incredible. 

Was very excited to try it again, especially since I don’t eat steak very often these days. Upon arriving, you can see how they’ve tried to emulate the NY steakhouse feel, from the separate bar and the TV suspended above it, all the way to the gauzy lighting and diner-style porcelain plates. Atmospheric if not particularly exciting.

We tried the following appetizers which were also not particularly exciting:
Wolfgang’s Crabcakes
Wolfgang’s Salad 
Beverly Hills Chopped Salad 

Personally I liked the chopped salad, but the others thought it was excessively chopped… you actually eat it more like rice than a salad. The crabcakes were also fine, though don’t expect anything apart from the bare minimum of what a crabcake should be. They even throw in the mandatory barebones tartar sauce.

The Wolfgang salad was miserable. 5 stacked up hunks of iceberg lettuce (another anachronism) cradling nothing more than chopped tomatoes, onions and a few shrimp bits. This is a salad that would have been boring even in 1995, and 20 years later it’s an antique that has not aged well

For mains we shared a 4 person Porterhouse steak.

No question that this was done well – cooked perfectly rare, the meat juicy and rich, and the flavour was intense. That said, I was kind of surprised that the steak wasn’t very warm, even though the plate it was served on was sizzling. Not sure if it was rested too long and then put on a hot plate? Confused. Anyway, no question that it was delicious, if a bit tepid.

This brings us to another depressing part the of the meal: the sides. Like any serious steakhouse, the steak is priced just for meat – nothing else is included, so we ordered a bunch of sides:

Cottage Fries (FYI these are more like giant potato chips than fries)
Grilled Onions
Grilled Mushrooms
Steak Fries
Lobster Mac and Cheese

Of these, only the Mac and Cheese was good, and the rest… mediocre or terrible. Amazingly, the steak fries (which are just thick cut French fries) were horrible! Dry all the way through and rock-hard, they had the texture of a fried, condensed sandcake. The manager kindly refunded the fries and told us that because they use imported Idaho potatoes, if the potatoes are out-of-season, the quality of the fries suffers. Hardly an excuse obviously, but glad they resolved it without any fuss. I can’t imagine not being able to recommend fries at a steakhouse, but don’t order this when potatoes are out of season (?Whenever that is?). 

The onions and cottage fries were also non-descript and can’t be recommended, though I did like how they included shiitake mushrooms along with the typical buttons in the grilled mushrooms. Believe me when I say this restaurant is so stodgy that these shiitake mushrooms represented the most adventurous addition to any dish we tried. The mac and cheese in fairness is quite delicious, though not sure how the lobster improves the dish, apart from its price.

We had the cheesecake at the end, and yes, while traditional to a fault, it does stand the test of time. If you like NY style cheesecake, this is a great representation of it.

Overall, Wolfgang’s gets the steak more or less right, which is obviously key. However, I think there are enough good steak places in HK that you don’t have to put up with middling sides and overpriced 1980’s salads which only diminish the experience. We shouldn’t eat that much beef anyway, but when we do, Wolfgang’s shouldn’t be that place.

所謂熟成牛把切好的牛肉,放在一個溫暖而有保濕的風乾櫃裡15-28天,牛肉失去水份,令牛肉肉汁更濃味道(似金華火腿,) 但肉質唔鞋兼且嫩滑, Porterhouse 即係T骨扒(規定32mm厚才稱為porterhouse , 骨的一邊是Sirloin,
 另一邊是Filet,而Sirloin食油花,Filet瘦肉質嫩 , 2種肉味及口感都不同, 外皮香脆, 粉色的肉仍是嫩滑,沒有重牛肉騷味, 風乾味不會太濃,要專登食骨位置才能食到濃郁的金華火腿味, 由於沒有特別調味,比較淡口, 食完2塊都覺得有點寡, 嘗試加上黑椒, 盬及檯上那樽似茄汁賣相的醬(Old
fashioned source) 為面前那麼大塊的牛肉加添不同感受,我個人覺得加少少鹽已可以, 另外,建議加入配菜例如薯條,薯蓉 或沙律菜,可以有不同選擇更好.

题外话/补充资料: 有些肉裡面是冷的, 是正常的嗎? 餐牌meau價錢跟訂檯時email餐牌價錢不同,舊version麻煩改左先send比客啦.
