The restaurant is surprisingly spacious inside and feels a bit like a Spanish/Italian style cavern restaurant. The slightly classical but homely décor gives off a very comfortable vibe. Re: The house pizza. The crust is thin and crispy; the shrimp tastes pretty fresh and the vegetables were good.
The spaghetti tastes pretty good> This is where the Hong Kong style comes in, perhaps they put a little bit of ‘Maggie sauce’ in to the spaghetti!? Anyway, it’s delicious.
The lamb shank is tender. Some may find the taste of the lamb not strong enough though. I think it’s good.
The service is professional – one could see that they are really proud of their work and the restaurant they are working for. One tends to see this in restaurants that have been around for ages. This is one of those restaurants.
All in all, a very enjoyable dining experience at a reasonable price.
