I read all the comments about Spoon-the restaurant at Inter-Continental Hotel today. It reminds me the services of the restaurant. Here is the story: when I phone to revserve the table for two in the afternoon, I told the receiptionist that we will arrive at 8pm, she said: 8pm will be fine, but can you come earlier? I wonder: there is no table available at 8pm? she said: no, there is table available at 8pm, but I suggest to come around 6:30pm. What?! Do you ever got such "nice and consider" rec
When I made the revervation of the second time at Spoon, I spoke in English, this time, the services was much much better.
According to my experiences, the so call "top" resstutants in HK, they have one problem in common, maybe they don't kwon--much nicer to the non-Cantoneses speaking customers (whichever langagues you speak, not Cantonese).
Hopefully, the "top" restruants managers will review "Openrice" and to improve their services.
