We went there on a weekday evening and it was easy to get a seat outside by the sand as we were relatively early . Having been there when we lived on Ma Wan we are revisiting after one year. As we weren't that hungry we just ordered two dishes, sausage platter and pasta. I am not sure whether the boss of the restaurant has changed, but it looks like the portions are getting less and less. The last time I visited this restaurant, I ordered a Sausage Platter. I am not sure whether the boss of the restaurant has changed, but it looks like the portions are getting less and less. The last time I visited this restaurant, I ordered a Sausage Platter. Now, normally, you would expect a platter to be more than 4 half-sausages (about the length of a finger) and a little dash of "salad" on a big white plate, but this is exactly what I got. Talk about being underwhelmed! And it costs about $85. The sausages themselves honestly weren't that great, think supermarket quality.
And next, we got pasta. It was also an extremely small portion (equivalent to less than a full bowl of rice).
So if you want a hearty meal, either order a lot (like, 2 mains for each person) or go somewhere else.
Ambience wise, of course it is nice as it's by the beach , and all the more reason for them to be able to charge you more for less. However it is still allowed for the customers to smoke and it may ruin your dining experience if you have a smoker near you.
