So many places in Hong Kong make a very sad milkshake. What they call a milkshake is actually just some milk and cream blended with ice and tah-dah! MILKSHAKE!NO!What you get is a smoothie. It's sad when the closest thing to a milkshake in Hong Kong is Triple O's premade stuff from a powder.Until now. Word on the foodie circles was there was a serious milkshake place in town. And I was here to find out if the rumors were true.No Milkshake No Life is located right outside the Shek Tong Tsui MTR.

Ordered oreo milk shake, thick and creamy, not like many places where they "claim" they have nice milk shakes. This one is legit

至從擴展港島線後，來往港島西區就再不用搖巴士。不用四處張望，怕錯過該下車的站位，時間也稍為有節省。因此近來即使見有多家有意一嚐的餐廳小店，也不會到望穿秋水，不可觸及的地步。　　美式雜貨店的那種隨性Lifestyle，座落西環，別具特色，感覺頗襯這店的風格。No Milkshake No Life，就連店名都有少許青春年華時的任性感覺。正正在地鐵出口附近，路程一分鐘左右，只是門面沒有大大個明顯招牌，需小心發掘。　　Ovaltine Milkshake　$58屬少見口味，以童年回憶阿華田製作成奶昔。阿華田味突出，即使相配的雲尼拿雪糕甜度高，也未會被搶味。奶昔中心部分依然是紥實的雪糕，只有對外薄層溶化。甜度適中，跟平常喝阿華田時調的程度相約，不過入口頗膩。　　Coffee Oreo Milkshake　$58比較合乎我們的口味，至少不只有甜一味。奶昔基底這次轉換成Cookies & Cream，畢竟要有Oreo的存在嘛。灰褐色系，拿著在街上喝總有種偽文青．真MK的懶型感覺。內有細碎的咖啡豆，用以添香及豐富質感，吃起來還有少許苦澀，令其膩感大降。　　Ox Tail Mac n' Cheese　

A stroll down this small community found this neat fast food shop. Its coolly designed with only a capacity of 2 stools, so sorry if you came and found a full house you could only either eat standing or takeaway. We like the ovaltine milkshake a lot, thick and creamy. The pancetta mac and cheese is tasty with a nice touch of crispy bread crumbs atop, though the catch is they used conchiglie instead of macaroni.
