We made lunch in La Cite since there is joint promotion with UA cinema. Since we just want to earn the jetso from the cinema tickets promotion, I don't want to order much. My husband ordered a set lunch (around $180) and I just want a sandwich. Although it is a normal size sandwich with normal taste and normal ingredient, it doesn't charge a normal price, it costed $78. That's fine, since it is located in Pacific Place, it wasn't a suprise.
After we finished the order, the waitress asked if I want to try their special promotion drink, which named "Bloody Orange", since she recommended to me intentionally and it is a special promotion, I accepted her suggestion.
It was a little bit disappointed when the drink came. There is no decoration and serve with a simple small glass (less than 150ml), made by grapfruit and orange juice. We didn't havea any complaint, maybe it was a cheap promotion item, decoration and size are skipped.
As mentioned, food are just so so, service are bad, even the Manager forgot our request of toothpick. I cannot imagine how a restaurant without good food and having bad service could stay in Pacific Place for so many years. We decided not to come again even there is cinema ticket promotion.
Big suprise was given after we checked the bill. It costed more than $350. The SPECIAL PROMOTION JUICE costed $55, even much more expensive than any kind of juice listed in the menu. Both of us feel we were cheated.
I caught the waitress and asked her what did she mean for "special promotion juice", she gave me a black face and told me that she said the same things to all clients. Then gossip with other waitresses right in front me!!!
All operice fans, please be careful, tell your friends and never visit this restaurant!
